Led by Practical Distillation & Separation Expertise
Neil Redgard - President & Principal Engineer
Neil leads RTL Engineers with a focus on helping clients solve difficult distillation, separation, and process scale-up challenges. With more than 35 years of experience in chemical process engineering, Neil has supported manufacturers across specialty chemicals, life sciences, food ingredients, flavor and fragrance, green technology, and advanced materials.
His work centers on practical engineering support for real operating problems — from distillation system design and solvent recovery to troubleshooting, debottlenecking, pilot testing, startup, and optimization. Neil has helped clients improve product purity, increase throughput, reduce technical risk, and make more confident decisions before committing capital or plant time.
Prior to RTL, Neil held senior technical and leadership roles in the mass transfer and process engineering industries, including with QVF, Kühni, and Sulzer Chemtech. Today, he brings that background to RTL’s responsive, senior-level service model: practical solutions, clear communication, and real plant experience.
